Surreal
Materiality Project
Graduate Diploma Central Saint Martins
This project is inspired by how I use my unconscious as a form of self-expression and my interest in the Surrealism movement.
Focused on the idea that the most creative work possible is done without thinking and throughout an automatic expression of our mind, Surrealistic work is described as dream like scenarios and the use of unconventional materials.
The use and exploration of unconventional materials is part of my ongoing personal research about sustainability.
The main goal is to find ways to
re-use the waste that is already in the world and bring it into fashion.
Textile created with recycled melted gloves.
An attempt to research the possibilities
of re-using such wasteful material.
